As Kaila and I travel and share about Your Jesus Journey and the mission God's called us to, almost without fail, the first question people ask is about money. It usually sounds something like, "That all sounds amazing.... So how do you make money doing that?" And then we respond with, "Well that's where faith comes in. We knew this was something God was calling us to, so we obeyed." Followed by, "Ok, that's really cool. So are you guys working other jobs or something?"

So here are some quick details for anyone considering supporting this ministry.

Several years ago I bought a fixer-upper and then Kaila and I invested some $, LOTS of sweat equity, and along with lots of help from friends, we were able to transform it into a very valuable home. Thanks to the crazy Real Estate market at the time, we were able to sell it for a sizable profit. Prior to that, we had no debt and lived lean so we could live generously and serve others. We sold nearly everything we owned and simplified life to set us up to go wherever God leads.
Next, we used some of our savings to pay cash for a used truck and 5th wheel.

We invested over $15,000 in start-up costs.
​
That initial investment included things like wrapping the truck and part of the RV. We upgraded our phones to use for filming. New Macbook, monitors, hard drives, lighting, lots of misc equipment for audio and video. Website, software subscriptions, and some printed materials to help connect with people along the journey.

Like so many others, Randy first connected with us online. He started watching everything. Online turned into phone calls. Phone calls turned into connecting. And by God's grace, we were blessed to baptize him in the river just up the road from his home.
